See how your CPF balances grow with compound interest. OA earns 2.5%, SA and MA earn 4%, plus extra interest on your first $60,000.
What This Result Means
Your CPF balances earn risk-free interest set by the government. OA earns 2.5% per annum; SA, MA, and RA earn 4% per annum. Members under 55 get an extra 1% on the first $60,000 of combined balances (OA capped at $20,000). Members 55 and over get extra 2% on the first $30,000 and extra 1% on the next $30,000.
Assumptions and Limitations
- •Interest is computed monthly and credited annually (December 31).
- •Extra interest on OA is credited to SA (under 55) or RA (55+).
- •This tool assumes no withdrawals during the projection period.
- •Does not include CPFIS investment returns or losses.
How We Calculate This
We simulate interest month by month: each account earns its base rate monthly. Extra interest is calculated on opening balances and credited to SA or RA depending on age. Contributions are added after interest for each month.
