What This Result Means

Your CPF contributions are split between your employer and yourself. The total contribution is then allocated across four accounts: Ordinary Account (OA) for housing and education, Special Account (SA) for retirement, MediSave Account (MA) for healthcare, and Retirement Account (RA) for members aged 55 and above.

Assumptions and Limitations

  • Uses CPF rules effective 1 January 2026.
  • OW ceiling: $8,000/month. AW ceiling: $102,000/year minus YTD OW.
  • CPF annual limit: $37,740.
  • For wages $50 or below: no CPF payable.
  • For wages $500–$750: graduated rates apply.
  • PR rates depend on year of SPR status and contribution arrangement.
  • Actual payroll may differ for back pay, leave pay, or sector-specific rules.

How We Calculate This

We apply the official 3-band formula: (1) wages ≤$50: zero contribution; (2) ≤$500: total-only rate on full wages; (3) ≤$750: base rate plus graduated addon on the amount above $500; (4) >$750: full rates on CPF-applicable wages. Rounding follows CPF Board rules: total rounded to nearest dollar (0.5 up), employee floored to nearest dollar.
